Welcome to the New EE Compendium

This is the first post on the new EE Compendium. This new design is approximately the third generation of the site, which has evolved from a purely personal site, to one with a bit broader vision. (You can read a bit more about the site's history and evolution here).

So, what can you expect from the new site, other than the nice new look, and this news blog?

Well, the core of the site is still the directory of links to information about microcontrollers, electronics engineering, and embedded systems programming. Those topics are the heart and soul of the site, and I hope to expand upon them over time.

The other information on the site -- electronics projects, engineering books, engineering magazines, career information, project management, test equipment -- all of that will remain, and hopefully be expanded in the near future.

And this blog, along with the EE Compendium Twitter feed and Facebook page, will be used to disseminate news about electronics and microcontrollers, tutorials, videos, and whatever else seems to be of interest to working electronics engineers and embedded systems programmers.
